Patriotic Speech Contest
In order to further study and implement the thought of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, and cultivate and practice socialist core values, recently, Anqing Foreign Language School’s Junior High School Division of the east campus held a patriotic reading and speech contest with the theme of ‘Forging ahead on a New Journey to be Good Successors’.
First and foremost, the competition not only aims to inspire students' patriotic feelings, improve their language expression and thinking abilities, but also is an important way for them to carry out patriotic education. In the competition, the students made incredible speeches with full enthusiasm and high morale around the theme of ‘Forging ahead on a new Journey to be a Good Successors’.
After the fierce competition, the winners were finally selected, who not only showcased their talent in their speeches, but also practiced the spirit of patriotism with practical actions in that they have made positive efforts to be good successors in the new era.
To put it in a nutshell, this activity has been highly valued by the school leaders, featuring the active participation of teachers and students, which fully reflected the patriotic feelings and noble sentiments of the teachers and students of Anqing Foreign Language School’s Junior High School Division.
